Wow - HUGE project! However, it might turn up some new info.
Maybe the overall scope would need to be narrowed.
While there were a core membership of perhaps 35 artists or so (not
counting strings), 2nd and 3rd tier musicians would easily bring this
up to over 250.
These Usenet decade groups are primarily concerned with pop, rock,
and R&B music, but the Wrecking Crew played on all the other genres as
well, such as movie and TV themes.
