Tell ya what... why don't one (or all) go to YouTube and search for "telstar". Then listen to the dozen or so posts
(all "slightly" different and post the URL for the one you think you remember.
Having grown up in the 50's I'll be the first to admit that what we sometimes "remember" is not always correct (as to
the group, artist or, in many cases, the version [LP vs single]. Duping that era it was common for two (or more) groups
to lay down a particular tune with in weeks of each other. Hell, even today you'll find someone arguing over who did
(for example) Love Potion #9.
So.. like I said... find the one you "remember" and post it. Then we'll work backwards to find out what it really
is/was.
