Unlike some poster who seem to be satisfied with file names containing ONLY
track# and Title... I take a lot of time (1) making sure that all files are
defined by "4 tag" file names (and very, very rarely "3 tag: names).. so files
are well defined and do not get overwritten and/or mixed. Also (2) my PARity
files are manually created (unlike those "auto" created by posting software
which can be, especially (in the case of those "2 tag" file names) very jumbled.
I take care to manually arrange "most" of my posts to follow the same
"order".... at least the order in which they are uploaded. (I have no control
over which order any given news server handles the propagation). Therefore the
PARity files from a post from (for example) 3 weeks ago can NOT be confused
with (again for example) a recent one. The same care is given to any
accompanying "scans". I RAR the scan folder (rather than just upload "loose"
images because then, as I'm sure you know, you can end up with a dozen files
named (for example) Cover.jpg.
If your news reader has a "date" column AND allows for headers to be sorted in
date (posted) order I'm sure you'll see exactly what is shown in those attached
screen captures. (actually if you DL them they should appear just fine on your
HD). There are no dupes (and I refrain from doing "re-posts" for just that
reason.
Sorry old Pal, but in this case (after checking (a) the files on local HD and
(b) double checking on two news servers... it comes down to how your display is
sorted (unless by some chance your news provider is changing the post time to
propagation time... and I haven't seen that happen in years.
