You children are a strange bunch.
I've been following this (and related) threads, or whatever they're called, for
a coupla weeks now... and all I hear is a bunch of children bickering over
who's post is better.
This Spider fellow (then again, with a name like Hannah it could be a fem)
takes the cake. He/she claims to be protecting "the group" from posts that
are not his/her "style". Others have trouble with them he says. Others
can't search for them he says. Others can't sample or grab just one tune
he says. Then he/she tells Patti (or someone) that he has kill filtered this
bad boy poster. Really? How does that protect the group?
Sounds more like a personal thing to me.
Jeez, he/she even jumped all over Patti for saying no more than the style
of posting that you kids are bickering about doesn't bother her and that
she's more than happy to get something for nothing.
Every now and then I see a post about how one or more of you children
are always eager and ready to help another "user" but recently when
someone (I think it was Patti) did ask a question (okay, I'll admit it was
more of a "challenge") about that freestyle or freeforall Mp3
thing... not one soul stepped in to answer her question. Rudeness? Or just
ignorance? Or is all that helpful expert crap just that. Then again, from
what I've seen in this group... any reply would (possibly in lieu of any real
knowledge) be in the form of "we've always done it that way" (when what is
really meant is: "because it looks so cool").
Maybe spidor is bi-polar! Within a 24-48 hour spread he/she is, on one
hand, lambasting and castigating the naughty poster and, almost in the same
breath, he/she is telling the same poster to "keep up the good work".
Me thinks that this is all vewy, vewy stwange.
Yeppers... there are still those sane, polite folk who, when something
pleases them, take the time to post a simple "thank you" and I have no
doubt that posters appreciate that.
But...
I still find most all of the blathering vewy, vewy, stwange indeed.
