Here is a truly excellent copy of Spiral Circus. From the (VERY minor) crackling you can hear in a few of the softest spots,combined with the crispness and brightness of the sound (and no tape hiss at all), I believe this came from a very clean copy of the vinyl release. (And, by the way, frequency analysis shows no lossy ancestry). I had earlier downloaded a version that purported to come from the vinyl, and the tone was the same, but it wasn't quite as clean, and worse, had a DC offset problem that even when corrected for left an audible hum especially on "side two" This has none of that. There were a few clicks and pops which have been seamlessly removed and sector boundaries aligned. I think we may well have the definitive version here.
