AMG EXPERT REVIEW: The group's biggest-selling album of the '80s also
marked a turning point in their fortunes, where they began losing even
the mainstream critics. The music has drive, and is extremely well
played and produced (this was the only album the band ever got to do at
their own, custom-designed Threshold Studios), but also seemed very
dated in its time, with a '60s sensibility that was out of place.
