I can play the files just fine on my component stereo system.This is a very
nice recording.

I was curious about the format and whether or not SACDs are still being
manufactured. Wikipedia says SACD was largely abandoned around 2009 although
there are a few “boutique” labels that make them—mostly classical
music.
