Unfortunately, I was standing underneath a high powered ceiling fan while taping.
I did not expect my CA-11 mics to pick up the light gusts of wind.
Next time, I'll use my Church Audio "Dead Rat" windscreens at Trees!
This was only the second show I have taped/attended at this venue.
Armored Saint were touring in support of their most recent album, Win Hands Down.
I went to this show only knowing the Armored Saint songs that were featured on MTV's Headbanger's Ball and VH1 Classic's Metal Mania.
I thought the band delivered a stellar show! John Bush is one of the greatest vocalists in the rock universe.
Armored Saint should be as BIG as Metallica. I am now a fan.
I was standing in the middle of the floor. You may hear phasing from time to time.
Remember, this was a METAL show. Fans in the crowd were going wild!
I did my best to hold my head still, while dodging others in the audience.
Keeping with the Thanksgiving "food" theme, the title of this recording is a reference to John Bush's voice acting career.
As many know, John was the voice behind several popular Burger King commercials.
It's a good gig, if you can get it!
I offer this recording to the metal gods to make ammends for the atrocious Slaughter "Hair Metal Holiday" recording which I have recently shared.
