From the perspective of sound, some of the tracks don't present well with regards to a simple stereo headphone mix. Also, the tracks I've tested so far are not redbook flac. That would mean you're spot on when saying that they should remain in a flac format. The other issue - adding proprietary songs to non-foobar collection. Why in the world would foobar want a proprietary format anyway. Wouldn't that mean you would have to install foobar to listen to the tracks at their best?
