Hi Clive,
You can use Apple's Airport Express ($99) with a PC: you will need to
download and install "Airport Utility for Windows"
(https://support.apple.com/downloads/airport%2520utility%2520for%2520windows).
There is also Airfoil for Windows
(http://www.rogueamoeba.com/airfoil/windows/) ($29) that will transmit
flac files played by JRiver to an Airport Express via Airport Utility
for Windows.
If your amp has an optical input, you can use the optical out from the
Airport Express. If you don't want to use an optical link, the same
3.5-mm socket provides an analog signal that you can send via an
ordinary audio cable to your amp. The Airport Express is surprisingly
