Alex De Renzy was a pioneering director of landmark Golden Age 1970s classics like Pretty Peaches, Baby Face and the outrageous Femmes DeSade and Long Jeanne Silver.
Unlike some contemporaries who forswore the often cheap, cheesy, shot-in-a-day ethos of video, De Renzy continued making films into the 1980s video era, even during the latter part of his career coining the pseudonym Rex Borsky for his purely sexual wall-to-wall videos.
Juicy Lucy is a relatively tame early-90s comedy with Jamie Gillis in a zany, goofy role as a German doctor investigating female ejaculation, with the ever-dependable Nina Hartley as his nurse.
It's interesting that this movie anticipated the rise of the squirting craze which became an almost ubiquitous fetish in the late 90s and early 2000s, particularly after the Seymore Butts films made it more acceptable and legal.
