Originally I had considered splitting this posting set into two
segments; general Blaxploitation and then the women of Blaxploitation
but as it turns out if one thinks of the stereotypes biased within the
Blaxploitation genre the real victims of this process are black women.
Essentially black women have two roles; victim who needs saving or
kickass bitch who takes men to town. So all we would have seen is a
lot of posting of the two movie iconics.
Lady Cocoa is a bit different in that at least this time the main
character breaks with the standard in that her target is within her
personal life rather than the typical 'bad cop'/'bad gang member'.
