I have watched Blackshampoo a couple of times and I must confess that
its target audience eludes me. On one hand you have a cool dude who
bangs his rich white customers and yet still maintains a relevant
relationship with his black girlfriend, (I mean isn't that all men
regardless of colour?), so is it about him crossing the interacial
line without prejudice or giving it to the man by fucking white women?
Plus he does the whole take on the Mafia because as it well known the
Mafia is all about controlling the world's hair salons.
For some reason this film seems to have survived the test of time and
is still found on late night TV.
