Hello posters.
If you post large files, it is a good idea to build and post redundancy
files to fix those files. In many groups I have seen large posts that
cannot be utilized due parts missing.
A few weeks ago, someone in one group posted a file with multiple DVD's in
it. No repair files. Useless download as it cannot be uncompressed and
viewed.
If you want to have your files looked at by people, learn to use
par2cmdline or quickpar to generate and post repair files.
If you have been on the binary groups long enough, you have seen those
files that are the name vol001+001.par2 at the end. These are the files
that I am talking about.
Something like.
My_DVD_of_Pictures.vol001+001.par2
My_DVD_of_Pictures.vol003+004.par2
My_DVD_of_Pictures.vol007+010.par2
