Everyone is responsible for their own security. CW is doing what he
feel she needs to do to stay safe. None of us has the right to
complain if we can't figure things out. YOU figured it out, so you're
smart enough. Even I figured it out, so it MUST be easy.

You post in the way you feel safe in doing.

CW posts in the way he feels safest. Those who want to enjoy the posts
must educate themselves about how EACH poster handles their security.
The trouble CW is facing is that there seem to be a lot of people who
don't have the patience to do their own homework. They expect
everything to be handed to them as if they were owed it. That is no
longer realistic.

You're looking at the main reason most posters have gone to private
groups. Five years ago, almost everything was posted openly. But our
groups are no longer the internet's hidden secret. Open posting is
almost extinct. Yet thanks to people like you and CW and Cosmos and
others the content that we seek IS still available, we must work
harder to find it.

The sad thing is that most of the people who are struggling to figure
out CW's security scheme won't even read this message. If they were to
read it I'd want them to know that they are in danger of pissing off
one of the last few posters whose posts they still have access to. Try
going to some of the secret groups and asking for passwords. They
won't even acknowledge your presence and they'll likely laugh at you
privately. They don't ever have to deal withg your whining and
whingeing again and the stuff they are trading would blow your mind.

My advice, protect your posters and appreciate them.
