Would long time posters like nert and winter mute--but i don’t mean to
single them out--there’s been so many others. And like i say i’m going
back ten years.
Could we use this group now, since vladmodels has been done for awhile, to
witness some of vladmodel’s history in terms of how did it start, how did
it grow, how did it work. So many have had particular experiences with vlad,
whoever that is.
For instance I never did buy anything from vlad. At the time the prices
seemed so high. So I don’t know how it worked or how custom sets worked.
I’d like to ask people to share whatever they experienced. I really have no
idea how vlad worked or even where they worked. Were they really in
vladivostok? How did they find their models? How did they treat them?
But we certainly have been open about sharing.
And yet there’s always that vlad set that maybe hasn’t been ever posted.
It’s fun.
But can we, now in this newsgroup, share their experiences with collecting
vladmodels? I’m not asking to give out details that might get you in
trouble, even now.
But I’m kinda a historian and would love to amass a story around this
amazing experience of vladmodels.
