Interesting concept, you believe that posting a password protected file and then
telling everyone what the password is prevents the net stiffs from discovering &
removing that post. I don't subscribe to astraweb, however one of my news
providers has pulled those files you mentioned in your orig message.
I don't think my news provider is using a robot to uncover files with underage
girls in various compromising positions. What I understand is that someone
registers a complaint to their news provider or other net stiff agency, they
investigate the complaint and if objectionable material is posted, they pull it.
One case in point being that Swarmer posted some Polly files in May which are
along similar lines of other files recently pulled,,, however those Polly files
are still available on both of my news providers.
So this leads one to suspect there is someone in the group who's formally
complaining about certain posts, and doing so quickly to prove their point about
using PWP. Not pointing fingers at anyone, I'm just commenting on specific
facts as it pertains to the news providers I subscribe with.
I hope my theory is totally off-base and everyone is a good actor in this NG.
If a lurker or poster doesn't like someone's posting, the best thing you can do
is not D/L their material,,, or use your filter to not see their posts, even
going so far as to let them know with a PLONK,,, but ratting them out to the
stiffs, now that's down right shitty and can cause other issues like getting
this NG pulled off the net, which would really suck for everyone.
