There was a strong push to put boys and girls on equal footing in terms of
being topless - but what was wanted was to show boys in swimming suits
instead of just boxer shorts. I objected to show boys in speedo swimsuits
that would emphasize their genitals. I was prepared for everyone to be
topless - but not nine year old kids wearing speedos that barely covered
their privates and how they cling to body emphasize genitals or nine year
old girls topless wearing a G-string bikini. So it broke down to Youth and
Beauty where only topless would be accepted. And as you can guess people
forgot our agreement and soon nine year olds models wearing swimsuits
showed up - etc. etc. Someone was making money putting a nine year old in a
swimsuit. The feds eventually stopped it by saying it was porn.
