Maybe you should stop blaming THE POSTER and look at your own software.
I've been seeing these messages from you for weeks, so just now I decided
to give it a shot - I did exactly what you said and had NO trouble. I
saved Sparkle img_3124 to my drive, did a properties on it, and guess
what? It's 465,275 bytes just as it says in the subject line and no error
reported by pan.

Seems to me like the problem isn't sanfan, it's your insistence on using
an ages old windows based newsreader.
