Bill, AND everyone who still asks for passwords: PLEASE read the
message Dresden posted here yesterday, where he explains about it.
You can think about passwords whatever you like, but if the poster
posts stuff WITH a password, you'll have to accept it. IMHO there is
no such thing in Usenet conventions to use a password, but if one
does, well so what?
The only other thing I think, is: be consequent. Don't use your first
name as a PWD day-1, then your full name day-2, then a ROT47 coded
full name day-3 and a full name plus exclamation mark on day-4 and
afterwards something at random. Or use the system The Count does.
Besides: passwords are case-sensitive, so if a poster says the
password is "abcDefg" don't put in "Abcdefg", it simply won't work.
