I would like to preface this by showing appreciation to both Shiina and Count
for all their work. The community at large thanks you for all you do.
When it comes to passwords... I know many of you find it frustrating, and I get
that, but these posters have their reasons and we are in no position to complain
about it. And before you say "But, it goes against the spirit of usenet...",
just stop. This is a different time now and the likelihood of things being
removed are much, much higher. If this gives even a little chance of it lasting
a bit longer, then we should all be for it. Besides, I kinda like trying to
figure it out.
And now for some basic instructions.
For Shiina's posts: These are almost always his full name, which can be found in
a post made by him with the subject "PW - PW Polish.txt". If i remember
correctly, there is one exception which uses the two-way encryption called ROT-
47. To use this, do a web search for "rot47 encoder". Once you find a tool, and
there are several, paste in Shiina's full name and press encrypt/encode
(whatever they call it on that site). The results of that will be your password.
I am fairly sure there are older posts that have a different password, but do a
modicum of research in previous posts and I have confidence that you can figure
it out.
For Count Drakulol's posts: These are mostly the full file name, without the
extension. So if the file is named "Dat Name #44.rar", the password is "Dat Name
#44". The exceptions are when he said the password was his country of origin.
For goodness sake, the country is in his email address. If you still can't
figure it out, google "where is count dracula from". When you get what you
*think* is the answer, ask your self... "is this word in his email address?" If
the answer is no, then keep reading the results and repeat.
