Not a bad idea but the dump recycles the old computers for the "rare
metals" and whatever is of value on the old boards. They no longer go
into the land fill. I've toyrd with linux and have an old print server
that might have some life in it. Getting parts for an old 486 these
days ? Where would you start? I'll order the external with USB from
ebay and wait a month while it arrives from China.
The new group or old group idea has some legs. I would hope that
someone makes a move and lets me know so I'm not left here with the
spammers.
