Although original notes say 3 officers-this is probably a German war
correspondent in shorts. Photo was taken in Lvov right after it was
taken by the First Mountain division so it would be 30 June-1 July.
Most of the reporting was confused that week because the Germans and
Ukrainian partisans were trying to sort out civilian and military
casualities from the massacre committed by the NKVD in that city.
