With the left track blown off and crowned by a 88 lb. anti-concrete
projectile, this all dark olive green KV-2 was an early victim of the
war as the inscription on the turret wall indicates. Knocked out by
Flak of the 2nd Regiment "General Goring" (redesignated to
Panzergrenadier Division Hermann Goring in 1943) near Dubno, Russia,
June 29, 1941
