This completely burned out Soviet BA-3 armored car is being examined
by infantrymen. The BA-3 was armed with a 45mm gun and 7.62mm DT
coaxial machine gun in the turret of a T-26 tank. It was built on a
GAZ-AAA truck chassis. There was no power to the front wheels. To
improve mobility on soft ground comparatively lightweight tracks could
be fitted to the two pairs of rear tires. These are seen stowed on the
rear hull.
