I've been so busy lately that I haven't downloaded anything from here
over the last couple of months.
As for its dead status. I fear the whole Usenet is more or less dead when
chatting is concerned. A few groups here and there are active, but not
many. Not like it used to be ten or so years ago. Fecesbook has seen to
that. Now, every Dick, Tom, and Harry is on there instead of here. They
post their images on Instagram, their videos on YouTube, and the groups
are left to fend for themselves, fighting off spammers and trolls.
We have a deadpan generation who doesn't care about old relics such as us
and our little playground. If it isn't on the web, it's nothing to have,
I suppose their motto is.
