Well, with today's speeds I wouldn't worry too much about it. I don't
think many use modems these days. When I first arrived to the group back
in 1997 (I think it was, might have been late 1996) it was more of an
issue. Likewise with long file names. Many still preferred 8+3 chrs. :-)
