Good catch, RR. I agree, the radio brand appears to be obscured by the
ID number. But this raises a question in my mind. The image with the ID
appears the identical shot as that posted by Dukie. Now, as we
understand it, these IDs were applied to the negatives so that all
prints had the ID on them. If indeed that was so, my question is how did
we get a print without the ID over the radio brandname? It appears the
negative was used sans ID for some time and then perhaps sold to another
dealer who applied his own ID to it. Or, less likely to me, did someone
remove the ID & paste in the brandname in Dukie's version??? The answer
may depend on whether Burtman ever used IDs. If not, then Burtman's
negative later on fell into other hands which applied the ID.
