until recently i had been accessing this group via Outlook - but that facility seems now to have been discontinued.
i then switched to using the program Grabit but have found two problems with it.
first - as far as i've yet seen - though i can post text msgs like this one i seem unable to post pictures!
and second - annoyingly - when receiving pictures a small number of them turn out to be impossible to view or to download!
the most recent example of that was Retrowavelength's jackie miller + barbara pauline post - which - when i attempted to download it - appeared only as an empty text file.
my three 'tests' were attempts by me to adjust rwl's posting so that the jpgs that it contained could be correctly read on download - but all three of them failed completely!
so - first question - am i somehow not using Grabit as i ought to be using it? and - anyway - second question - what can anyone suggest as another alternative to the now seemingly defunct Outlook?
