That's an interesting idea. I'd start by looking for a copy of The
Spider And The Rose, but it kinda seems too obvious. My guess is that it
was built on the site along with the pool. One of the story bits I
omitted, partly for brevity, was that he had posed as a tile dealer &
obtained a lot of the pool tiles from Germany pretending to be a dealer.
Implication was that he got a lot as "sample" lots.
