It's a combination of factors. My dialup connection, probably
my older newsreader, and the way my NSP deals with extra large
single-part posts. Astraweb won't even accept such posts from
me; it doesn't reject them but it ignores them.
I can't be sure of course but I don't think yours have been a
problem.
