I think its into part 2 of 7!
I had a lot of problems with multipar (some help someone?)
it was creating par files of around the entire size of the files (ie
30 files x 100mb each, it'd create a 3gb par file! Its probably a
setting in multipar, so in the short term these are done with quickpar
(par2 files). It means a longer upload, but well, its worth it.
I've been wanting to thank everyone for your understanding when my
uncle passed, I have been in a fog, of sorts, and, unable to really
concentrate on what I was doing.
After Spr part 7, I wont have anything left to post, so maybe I should
post the archived lists from the last few later drives and see if
anyone wants anything?
If anyone wants anything else, from the prior posted files, can you
pop me a message in here, and ill get them ready.
This will still be posting thru christmas, and, at this stage I will
just let it 'go'. I do, however, have to swap a battery in the network
terminating device, that the isp's contractor mounted on the wall, but
I will try and not do that until after everything is posted. (fingers
crossed the power doesnt go out altogether!)
Anyway, its been a terrible year, for some of you, with the passing of
'Jess', so please try and have a merry christmas and a happy new year,
if you need to travel, make sure you give yourselves plenty of time,
letting any impatient drivers go, and i hope to catch up with you all
in 2015.
