Hopelessly inaccurate for numerous reasons.
Let's look at them:
Bth has not "posted" recently. This is a pictures
group and posting involves putting pictures into the
group. What bth has done is to issue a troll message
which was, in essence, pretty much identical to the one
he always issues. We know what to expect.
If you think about it the "biting" was actually done
by bth because without the original post (using the
word correctly) he could not have been induced to
jump the way he does.
His intent WAS to be a poster. The only time he ever
tried it was when the group ran completely slack and
he thought there was an opening. He tried it a few times
then gave up when he discovered that his praise begging
headers did not produce a single response. We guess that
he spends more of his life in newsgroups than we do
because the only "active" time we spend here is, like now,
straightening out trolls. The rest is all automatic. We
don't sit and watch every pic being posted. Rarely do we
watch ANY being posted because that's usually on auto too.
As for "irking" anybody. well it's nice to think that
a bunch of hopeless inaccuracies is "irking". On the
contrary, they require correction. Anybody can issue
outlandish crap and expect it all to be accepted. It
requires no skill nor knowledge whatsoever. So the "irking"
notion is purely a product of bth's weak mind.
The only really funny thing about bth's messages is the
use of pointless personal tags, like "sweetie" and
"queen" etc. They produce no effect since anybody can
call anybody anything at any time. It's the very
anonymity of Usenet that induces trolls to do that
because, in the street, they'd be likely to get their
faces ripped off. Keyboards are so benign, aren't they?
Basically, bth was sore that his original message was
so far buried in history. That's usual, check back and
see the hundreds we never bothered to dignify with a
response and which just hung there in splendid
isolation. There were so many. He realized that the
ONLY way he could get spotted was to post a "Re:"
to a front line message, a front line incidentally
where trolls are not allowed other than with "Re:"
messages.
Why are ALL trolls the same, thinking they are significant
and being deluded into believing that they change
anything in a highly popular pictures group when they don't?
