Thank you for the positive feedback. Good to know its appreciated.

The work is in being diciplined with the naming and structure of the
folders and catagorisation.  My previous post listing the sets, gives
a little clue.  This make it easier to search by using the
file/directory names instead of using a tool (cough,  Adobe) that
searches relying on additional metadata attached to eatch image.

The only real drag is creation of the indexes.  This is really time
consuming and I have yet to find a tool to create these quickly and in
a format I like.
