New/old scanner. I went with the used 9800XL A3 scanner. Getting used
to the Microtek software. To be honest, the scan ooks like the paper...
old, so I didn't use any filters/tweaks in the scanner settings. I take
it you're recommending color correction post-processing in PS?

Weird that the guides show in PS. In Simple Comic, Preview, etc. they
are not shown. I wasn't aware that these were stored in the JPG.  Even
running through an image (size) optimizer doesn't remove the metadata
for the guides. Weird. You can "Clear Guides"  in PS though if you're
viewing there. I'll hide/clear before bulk exporting next time.

I had a backlog of comics to scan,, but a lot of them were released by
Titansfan, drake, comicscastle in the last few months. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
