Thanks for the feedback. As usual the few pages are for larks to figure
out how best to restore/repair. I enjoy the challenge.

But 60+ pages gets tedious especially given the damage that cut through
basically every page. I'm still trying to figure out how it was damaged
in that manner. Nails that dragged/cut through?

Thus the public query. I've posted a few restorations, but seldom get
any feedback indicating whether they are useful to anyone else. I
wasn't "feeling it" for this project if no one else was interested. The
relatively low resolution of the scan and effort needed made it
questionable that I would ever finish it for just myself. I have a few
other projects that are similiarly "in progress" for a year or more.

I've gotten enough feedback on this book to make it worthwhile to try
to push through. I have all the borders and space between the panels
cleaned up for the first ~40 pages and have repaired the tears in about
a dozen pages. And yes I replaced/repaired the DC logo in the
centerfold. :)

At least the B&W scan is complete (if also low res), which helps
determine what's missing in the damaged areas.

It's going to be lengthy project but I suspect I will see it through to
completion. Worst case, I'll post my final work in progress in case
anyone else wants to continue the effort.
