 I had a crew chief that spent more time reading comic books than
 technical manuals.  I worried about that boy, not to mention worrying
 about my own life every time I climbed into the cockpit.  As it turned
 out, he was a genius and was able to make a Phantom II purr like a
 kitten and fly like a missile.
 
 Looking back, it is hard to believe how young we all were.
