 Yeah, I wasn't going to correct you.  It is a good 6 - 7 hour drive
 from Balboa Park to Tucson.  The PIMA museum is great and the AMARG
 tour is fascinating.
 
 When in Tucson there is also a Titan missile museum you might enjoy.

 Also, about 90 minutes from San Diego are a couple of great air
 museums in Chino.  Planes of Fame and Yanks.

 I have been to all of these facilities and my hands down favorite is
