The comma is there in Hogwasher in all three versions.

Unison and Hogwasher handle things differently:
Unison requires either going to the File menu and selecting "Save
Attachments" or right click on the subject and select "Save
Attachments". A typical save dialog opens and the file is presented for
saving without the comma, (or any name change I choose) to save to a
selected location.
Hogwasher is a tad different. Hogwasher shows the comma without a space
directly after the suffix. When the post is opened the file is
automatically downloaded to an alt.binaries.pictures.aviation folder
contained in the 'Downloads' folder. The downloaded file does not have
the comma.
For both Unison and Hogwasher JPEGs are opened inline with the message.
There is no comma. However, Hogwasher will also download the image file
by default whereas with Unison you have to take a deliberate action to
download. From my point of view I prefer the Unison method where I can
preview a image and choose to download or not. I dont have that option
with Hogwasher.
