I searched through the available pictures in this NG before posting these. This
is a model built by a master model builder, commissioned by the A&S museum, and
it was only supposed to be displayed for a short period of time in the mid 80s.
It's still there. The builder, whose name is visible in some of the shots, is
my father in law. He is a retired USAF MSgt and still builds award winning
models in his West Virginia hideaway.
This is not an assembled kit. It was carved from a block of modeling foam using
scale drawings obtained from a model building company.
