The biggest car I've owned was a '67 four door 5000 pound T-Bird...bought used
for $2500 in early 70s...was too intimidated to drive the beast so I gave it to
my wife who wheeled it around like a sports car!!
Always preferred small cars...currently drive a 2015 SmartCar...two seater with
enough 'truck' space for a few bags of groceries...perfect for an oldster. Has
a three cylinder engine that as quiet as you get.
Now owned by Mercedes Benz, they're converting the assembly line to all electric
and getting rid of the gas engine models all together.

"The fourth generation model, C453, was made available for sale in the US on 9
August 2017, as a 2017 model. The gasoline models was no longer for sale in
Canada and the US. With the new body and the Renault/Mercedes Edison Platform,
it is available with electric drive and a 17.6 kWh battery. It has an EPA
Certified range of 58 miles. The charge rate is 7.2 kW. Also available as a
cabriolet, it is the only current production electric convertible in the world.
The model was later renamed as Smart EQ Fortwo in 2018 as Daimler stated to use
EQ brand for electric car lineup.
