I use only one. My reason for doing so is to avoid the jumble of files that
occurs when I haven't paid close attention to my subject lines so that they
are guaranteed to sort cleanly alphanumerically. In cases like that, unless
my files can be sorted by date, they will interleave and make downloading a
frustrating experience. Posting a single thread makes them sortable by date.
