Aha, got it! Was just struck by a brilliant idea. Looking at the
list of groups, I was thinking that what we want is an inactive,
ripe-for-takeover "a.b.pictures.erotica.mature", because we're
interested in *pictures* that are mature by now, whether the models
themselves were mature or not (which is irrelevant). Cute, eh?
Bow bow bow. But the group doesn't exist, or at least it shouldn't,
because it's one of those intermediate placeholder non-groups.
But that's OK, because just below that spot in the list is
alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.megapixel. Perfect! What we're
interested in are pics that are roughly, within half an order of
magnitude (decimal), 1000x1000 ... let's say generally bigger than
512^2 (I should hope so) but not nearly as big as 4096^2. So the name
says what we're all about, size-wise.
The archived charter is empty, just a "cmsg newgroup" message with no
body. The group is dormant except for some spammers (easily
killfiled). Why not take it over?
