No, the problem is that some people are so thin-skinned that
anyone is afraid of upsetting people(posters, what few of us are left
here).
I don't know of any "real" way of finding how many people are
in a group anymore. BJtheDJ used to quote statistics as ng moderator,
but I think they had inside access. I'm thinking that maybe only a
specific news service could tell you how many dL's they had out of a
group from their servers. idk
I saw this question asked in another group and it was
suprising how many responses from lurkers actually came. And the
thing was they didn't all come at once; it took days before the thread
finally died. I can't think of the guys name in .pubes that is
remarking on something I posted in July. I can't remember what I
posted last week!
So you have grateful "members" and those that want to lurk.
Seems no one wants to post though. I said before that I'm doing
everyone's dirty work...that's ok, I'm doing it for myself anyway and
I don't mind sharing. Because of my nightshift work now, I've assumed
the life of a Vampire and find it difficult to find things to do. This
fills in some time for me.
I appreciate your posts and look forward for more!
