Your best bet is really to find one of the free programs that is actually
designed as a news reader. The built in Microsoft ones are much better
suited for simple text discussion groups than for music, video, or picture
groups that include multipart postings.
I strongly recommend XNews, but Forte Agent is another strong choice.
Just search for them on Google.
