Don't know which groups you're finding encryted or passworded files in
(unless you're visiting ab.teevee). He's encrypted and pwd'd to keep
the copyright lawyers off his tail for first-run broadcasts. Some
other groups may do likewise for first-run movies. ('course, the
password nonsense keeps nearly everyone from being able to get them,
so I don't know why he ever posts anymore).
As to most other video groups, I rarely come across anything encrypted
or passworded. Where are you finding them?
