like many of the German films of the day (3 penny opera, congress
dances, mistress of atlantis, Dreyfus, M, Blue angle) FP1 was filmed
in german, French and English.
I Believe the French version is lost (pity as it starred Charles
Boyer) The German version wih Hans Albers and Peter Lorre is around in
nice shape - but haven't found a really top notch copy of the UK
version (put out by fox films)
