In my opinion, the listing of genres is an area of opportunity for IMDb. For example, my last post at the pre-1960 group was "Halls of Montezuma" (1951). IMDb lists the genres at the top of its webpage: "Action, Adventure, Drama." I know they'd say they list the genres in alphabetical order. But I don't care about alphabetical order. No-one does. I see no reason to do it that way. When I go to their webpage, I want to know what type of movie it is. Halls of Montezuma is first and foremost a War movie, and that genre should be listed first.
Anyway IMDb lists the three genres for this movie, "War and Peace" (1956), as: "Drama, Romance, War." Again they do it in alphabetical order, but they're right-on. I sometimes move my favorite movies around in my lists, and "War and Peace" (1956) has been in each of those groups. Right now it is in the Drama group. But if you considered it a Romance movie, or a War movie, I wouldn't have an argument with you.
