Of the four movies I have where William Powell starred as Philo Vance, this is the poorest quality. It is viewable, however, in that the plot can be followed, the surroundings identifiable, the characters generally recognizable, and the sound can be heard and is in sync.
The Kennel Murder Case, posted yesterday, was the best quality. If you're a bluray fanatic, you probably won't enjoy any of the four. But if you're a William Powel fan, or a 1930ish Mystery fan, these should be quite entertaining.
