This film is just over 167 minutes. The Runtime given at IMDb is 172 minutes. However, IMDb cites an Alternate Version made to fit "onto one VHS cassette by removing the Intermission screen as well as the Entr'acte."
The movie being posted does not include an Intermission or an Entr'acte. However, it appears to be a DVD rip, and is significantly better than VHS quality.
The absence of an Intermission or an Entr'acte, in my opinion, accounts for the five minute difference between the posted film's time and IMDb's given runtime.
IMDb also offers alternate versions, which were shown on TV. Those versions had cuts to allow for a three-hour movie with TV commercials. Various TV versions are cited by IMDb. Those cuts don't seem to apply with the movie posted.
IMDb also mentions alternate versions in a couple different countries. "When this was first released in Germany, the film ended with Maria's wedding and the final third of the film cut off due to its Nazi overtones. Also,"When the film was originally released in France, the sequences of the nuns singing "Maria" and the Mother Abbess singing "Climb Ev'ry Mountain" were cut as it was felt by the authorities that nuns singing non religious songs was disrespectful....On the 2005 40th Anniversary DVD, the French Singalong version omits subtitles for these two songs." I see no indication of censorship in the versionn being posted.
In my opinion, there is no evidence of Cuts or Time Warping in this posted version. I believe this is the complete original film, sans Intermission and Entr'acte.
